Beef Heart is one of the most nutritional muscle meats. It is rich in iron and zinc, and is a great source of thiamin, vitamin B6 and B12, phosphorus, copper and selenium. It also contains essential amino acids that help build muscle, store energy and boost stamina and endurance. The heart also contains twice as much collagen and elastin than regular meat, which is important for healthy joints.
Beef Heart is quite high in cholesterol, so don't feed it to your dog too often. It should only make up to 10% of your dog's raw meat diet.
